Good morning, baseball fans! And Merry Christmas Eve to those who celebrate!
Today, I thought we could all share the best San Francisco Giants presents that we’ve received over the years. For some reason, I don’t tend to get given Giants related gifts despite, you know…writing about the team. But I do have a couple that stand out.
Probably about a decade ago, my current boss (but at a different job we both worked at) once gave me the fluffiest, coziest, Giants blanket with a sherpa lining that I still use to this day. 10/10, no notes, best blanket ever.
And probably one of the biggest highlights I can think of is the Christmas after the 2010 World Series. I was spending it with my mixed family of Giants, Dodgers and A’s fans and all of the Giants fans got World Series swag for days. Posters, sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats, everything. Opening those up in front of my Dodger fan cousins was truly the cherry on top of that World Series sundae.
