2023 record: 92-70 (1st in NL Central)
2024 record: 93-69 (1st in NL Central)
2025 record: 97-65 (1st in NL Central)
The Brewers have become a player development machine in recent years. They have their systems fine tuned and are reaping the rewards of the work they have put in. Three straight NL Central division titles (and 4 out of 5) show that this organization is running on all cylinders. They may not have all the flashy names, but they make it work plugging players into positions that help them maximize their abilities.
They also are ahead of the curve in several areas and zig when other’s zag; their recent draft record and success in International Free Agency confirms this. They are turning over every rock for talent that will help their organization in the near and long term future. The vast majority of these players (especially on the hitting side) are home grown; Brewers fans should be very excited.
The core is fun and this exercise was made more difficult because there were so many players that deserved a spot and there weren’t enough spots to go around. Here is my best guess at what this team could look like in 2028 without making any moves outside the organization.
