Nick Margevicius has signed a minor league contract with the San Francisco Giants. According to reports, he will receive $825K if he reaches the Majors. (Alex Pavlovic on X)

Hearing the Giants are bringing former Padres/Mariners starter Nick Margevicius to camp as a non-roster invitee. He had a 3.89 ERA in Triple-A with Tigers last year … continues their trend of adding new lefties to the mix this offseason.

Fantasy Impact:

Margevicius has not pitched in the Majors since 2021 when he appeared in five games (three starts) with the Mariners. All told, Margevicius is 4-11 with a 6.12 ERA in 110.1 Major League innings between San Diego and Seattle. Last season, the southpaw pitched for Triple-A Toledo in the Tigers’ organization and posted a 5-3 record with a 3.89 ERA and 70 strikeouts in 74 innings. More than likely, this is an organizational depth signing.
