Roch Cholowsky is not the only MLB Pipeline draft prospect that the UCLA Bruins have. Junior first baseman Mulivai Levu is also a well-regarded prospect in 2026.

According to MLB Pipeline, Levu is ranked 95th on the list of top 100 2026 MLB Draft prospects.

Levu and his 2025 Season with UCLA

In 2025, Levu had a breakout sophomore season with the Bruins. He had a .320 batting average, 87 hits, 15 doubles, 12 home runs, and 85 RBI.

He had 22 games with multiple RBI and was second in the country in RBI by a single player. The only player with more RBI than Levu in college baseball last season was High Point’s Landen Johnson.

Levu was also a great defensive player last season. He had 517 putouts and committed just one error. With a fielding percentage of .998, he won an ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove award.

The Gold Glove Award was not the only individual accolade Levu brought home. He was named second-team All-Big Ten, and Baseball America named him a third-team All-American.

Levu played a big role in UCLA having a great season. The Bruins won a share of the Big Ten regular season title with the Oregon Ducks in their first year in the conference.

They also won a regional and super regional that they hosted in Los Angeles and made it all the way to the College World Series. It was the sixth appearance in the College World Series in UCLA’s history.

Up Next for the UCLA Bruins

Levu and UCLA will begin the 2026 college baseball season with a three-game weekend series at home in Jackie Robinson Stadium from February 13-15. They will play the UC San Diego Tritons.
