The New York Mets’ spring training slate begins on February 21 against the Miami Marlins. During that time you will see several different players get some time with the club. Several of those individuals will be non-roster invitees which the Mets have been signing throughout the offseason.

Non-roster invitees are players that are not on a team’s 40-man roster but are invited to spring training to participate and fight for a potential 40-man roster spot.

Here is the current list of non-roster invitees the Mets are expected to have according to Fangraphs:

Jackson Cluff, INF
Jose Rojas, OF/3B
Jose Ramos, OF
Cristian Pache, OF
Robert Stock, RHP
Carl Edwards Jr., RHP
Nick Burdi, RHP
Joe Jacques, RHP
Anderson Severino, LHP
Kevin Herget, RHP

It remains to be seen if any of the above will make an impact for the Mets in 2026, let alone remain with the team through spring training. Regardless, it is always worthwhile to keep track of some of the different names you will surely see throughout the spring.
