JUPITER, Fla. (First Alert 4) – The Cardinals’ Single-A is rebranding to tap in with their South Florida roots.
Starting in April, the Palm Beach Cardinals will rebrand as the Frozen Iguanas for 12 home games. Along with the new name, the team will be wearing blue and green jerseys.
The move is an alternative re-brand, meaning it will be for a limited time.
“This was our first time doing it. So we wanted to see, you know, how it was going to land first. And if it is a success and it has proven to be so far, we would obviously like to continue doing it,” said Abbie Schultz, Marketing and Promotions Manager with the Palm Beach Cardinals.
The Palm Beach Cardinals play their home games at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, where the St. Louis Cardinals hold Spring Training.
