NBCUniversal purchased a Major League Baseball media rights package this offseason, and the Arizona Diamondbacks will play five games on its platforms throughout the 2026 season.
NBC Sports released its 2026 schedule on Friday, which includes Arizona’s Opening Day matchup with the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium on March 26. That game will air on NBC and Peacock and is part of an Opening Day doubleheader that starts with the Pittsburgh Pirates playing the New York Mets.
Arizona has four games that will stream exclusively on Peacock, all of which will be played at Chase Field:
June 7: Washington Nationals at Diamondbacks
June 21: Minnesota Twins at Diamondbacks
July 5: Milwaukee Brewers at Diamondbacks
Aug. 23: Cincinnati Reds at Diamondbacks
The Nationals and Twins have turned pages this offseason with new managers: Blake Butera (Washington) and Derek Shelton (Minnesota). The Brewers and Reds are coming off postseason appearances, with Milwaukee reaching the NLCS before losing to the Dodgers.
NBC is taking over Sunday Night Baseball this upcoming season from ESPN. On Peacock, NBC will stream MLB Sunday Leadoff games, a Sunday whip-around show and an out-of-market game each day.
Nationally-shown MLB games will be found by NBC, ESPN, FOX, Apple, Turner and Netflix this upcoming season after a series of media rights deals came together this offseason.
The Diamondbacks’ typical television set-up will not change from the previous couple seasons in 2026, as fans can watch through MLB platforms and the same cable channels.
