The Texas Rangers are going to look a little different in 2026.
Key players from the 2023 World Series team like Marcus Semien, Adolis Garcia and Jonah Heim are gone. New faces like Brandon Nimmo and Danny Jansen have arrived to replace them.
But with Chris Young saying the team will be “open minded and opportunistic” with more additions, it sounds like the Rangers may not be done yet.

Top of the list are Chris Bassitt, Lucas Giolito and Nick Martinez, three right-handed pitchers that Schoenfield dubbed “inning-eating starters.” He points out that Texas may be in the market for more starting pitching depth beyond their top three of Jacob DeGrom, Nathan Eovaldi and Jack Leiter.
The other player named a potential fit for the Rangers is Luis Arraez, the three-time batting champion.
