The Atlanta Braves reported Thursday that left-hander Ken Waldichuk had been claimed off waivers from the Athletics. The club also announced that infielder Vidal Bruján had been designated for assignment.
28-year-old Waldichuk debuted in 2022 and has 42 games under his belt. He has an underwhelming 6-11 record to accompany his 5.28 ERA.
As for Bruján, his 24-game tenure in Atlanta likely comes to an end.
