Shaq Thompson showed off his centerfield abilities on Sunday in the NFL playoffs for the Buffalo Bills against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Thompson played in the Boston Red Sox minor league system as an outfielder before becoming a long-time NFL linebacker.
When he intercepted Trevor Lawrence on Sunday, he sat back, read Lawrence’s eyes and jumped a passing lane.
It reminded one MLB insider of Thompson’s days as a baseball player, as Jon Heyman posted this on X:
