In this week’s Reacts survey, we asked fans who they think will lead the Brewers in home runs in 2026.

After finishing 22nd in the league with 166 homers a year ago, the Brewers have mostly maintained their roster, at least from an offensive standpoint. Christian Yelich led the squad with 29 homers, followed by Jackson Chourio (21), Brice Turang (18), William Contreras (17), Sal Frelick and Rhys Hoskins (12 each), Caleb Durbin (11), and Isaac Collins and Andrew Vaughn (nine each).

With Hoskins and Collins out of the picture, the leading contenders seem to be the other guys from that group, though Turang’s power surge is viewed as fluky by some. That being said, I included Chourio, Yelich, Vaughn (who only appeared in 64 games with Milwaukee), and Contreras as the four options, though I did leave a fifth option for “someone else.” Here are the results:

Chourio garnered well over half of the vote, coming in with 62%. After finishing with 21 homers in each of the last two seasons, Chourio will likely need to take a slight step forward to lead the Crew in 2026. Yelich, who rediscovered his power stroke a bit in 2024, finished in second with 19%, followed by Vaughn (10%), someone else (6%), and Contreras (3%).

Any one of the candidates could reasonably lead the squad in 2026, but only time will tell. FWIW, Contreras would be my pick in 2026, especially if he’s back to full health following an injury-plagued 2025.
