Osvaldo Bido has been designated for assignment by the Rays. The move allows Ken Waldichuk, who was acquired in a trade with the Braves, to have a spot on the 40-man roster. (Tampa Bay Rays on X)
The Tampa Bay Rays have acquired INF Brett Wisely and LHP Ken Waldichuk from the Atlanta Braves in exchange for a player to be named later or cash considerations.
To make room on the 40-man roster, RHP Osvaldo Bido and INF Tsung-Che Cheng have been designated for assignment.

Fantasy Impact:
Bido was claimed off of waivers, ironically from the Braves, last month. He has pitched parts of three seasons in the big leagues and has a 5.55 ERA over 193.2 career innings.
