A social media post from the official Miami Marlins account indicates that they will be revamping one of their alternate uniforms in 2026.

The short video posted on Monday night shows the team’s standard cap as well as the Retrowave cap that they added last season for Saturday home games, followed by a handwritten sign that says “SUNDAY ALT.” Finally, two number sequences flash on the screen, 02072026 and 03292026. Those represent the dates February 7 and March 29, implying that the uniform will be revealed during Marlins FanFest and debut on the field during the first Sunday home game of the regular season.

In 2024 and 2025, the Marlins used bright blue uniforms as their Sunday alternates. That will continue to be their primary uniform for spring training games.
