They’re connected off the field, too, even to the point of being involved in weddings with one another.
A cool thing happened recently: Mariners second baseman Ryan Bliss got married.
His wedding was officiated by star shortstop J.P. Crawford.

Between injuries and inconsistency, Bliss has yet to spend a ton of time in the big leagues.
But he and Crawford have surely spent some time turning double plays together.
