As another holiday season comes and goes, the calendar inches closer and closer to the start of the college baseball seasons.
For those NCAA D3 schools, the wait is almost over as first pitch is scheduled for Feb 6 for most schools. As the teams will come alive on the diamond so does the hope of starting a journey to Eastlake, OH for the D3 World Series.
With the D3 World Series scheduled for May 29-June 4th in 2026, Wisconsin-Whitewater will be the team to beat this season.
As the defending national champions will look to go back-to-back after claiming the title in 2025, there is plenty of D3 baseball talent to be acknowledged.

The 2026 College Baseball season is slated to begin on Feb. 13 with the Shriners Children’s College Showdown getting the NCAA action rolling for the D1 teams.
For D2 and D3, the action is set to begin on Jan. 30 for most programs.
