MURRAY, KY — Coming off of last seasons historic run to the College World Series, the Murray State Racers are seeing highly anticipated updates to Johnny Reagan Field.

As the Racers hit the field for their first official practice of the 2026 season, they did so with the backdrop of a new scoreboard, outfield wall, and video board currently under construction.

That is also on the heals of the ground breaking of a brand new clubhouse that will be built beyond the right field wall.

But the updates aren’t done yet.

Within the next few weeks the infield at Reagan Field will have artificial turf installed. It’s a project that will see the Racers move their daily practices and first few home series of the season.
