Dana White announced the five-year Meta partnership on Instagram on Monday, confirming the UFC Apex would be renamed Meta Apex, home to Contender Series, Fight Nights, Zuffa Boxing, and UFC BJJ. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is an MMA fan and jiu-jitsu practitioner; White joined Meta’s board in 2025. A release said Meta branding will be added across the venue and that the companies will create interactive spaces to enhance fan and athlete engagement. Opened in 2019, the venue supported operations during COVID-19, was expanded to 1,000 seats, and is slated to finish renovations later this year to enable public ticket sales.
