COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. — Carlos Beltrán and Andruw Jones are the newest inductees into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

The two center fielders were elected by the Baseball Writer’s Association of America for the class of 2026.

Beltrán, in his fourth year on the ballot, received 358 votes, making up 84.2 percent of the total. Jones, on his ninth try, secured 333 votes or 78.4 percent. Both exceeded the necessary 75 percent threshold from the 425 ballots cast.

Beltrán, a former American League Rookie of the Year, boasted a .279 batting average with 435 home runs over 20 seasons. Jones, known for his defensive prowess, earned 10 Gold Glove Awards and hit 434 home runs over his career.

Chase Utley was the only other player to receive votes on more than half the ballots, while Manny Ramírez, in his final year of eligibility, will now move to the Contemporary Era ballot in 2028.

The duo will be honored at the Induction Ceremony on July 26 at the Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown along with Jeff Kent, who was elected by the Contemporary Baseball Era Committee.
