Vesia was left off the Dodgers’ World Series roster for their showdown with the Toronto Blue Jays.
The team indicated he was dealing with a “deeply personal family matter.”
It later emerged Sterling had suffered medical complications shortly after her birth.
The newborn tragically died on Sunday, October 26.

“Our little angel we love you forever & you’re with us always,” Alex and Kayla wrote on Instagram.
“Our beautiful daughter went to heaven Sunday October 26th.
“There are no words to describe the pain we’re going through but we hold her in our hearts and cherish every second we had with her.”
On Tuesday, the pair uploaded a new snap as a tribute to Sterling.
Posing infront of a gorgeous sunset, the picture showed Vesia and Kayla in a tight embrace.

“We have seen ALL your messages, comments and posts.
“It’s brought us so much comfort.”
