Entering year 15 at loanDepot park, the Miami Marlins are still dealing with a familiar problem regarding home attendance. The mediocre quality of the product on the field and location of the venue are among the factors that perennially have the Fish finishing with the fewest spectators in the National League.

It isn’t for a lack of effort. Miami’s marketing department turns a large share of regular season home games into special events, plus Marlins ticket prices always rank among the cheapest in Major League Baseball.

Marlins Legends Hall of Fame inductions—The Marlins opened their own Hall of Fame at the ballpark in 2025. The four members of the HOF’s inaugural class were inducted at various dates throughout the season, featuring pregame ceremonies and bobblehead giveaways. Expect something similar in 2026. My speculation is that the first induction should be on March 29, paired with the unveiling of the team’s new Sunday alternate uniform.

Heritage Celebrations—It’s been a long-running tradition for the Marlins to dedicate games to specific nationalities and ethnicities (Cuban, Dominican, Venezuelan, etc.). They create jerseys that are exclusively available through the purchase of special ticket packages. The majority of these celebrations are held on Saturdays.
