Here are 12 transfers to know ahead of the 2026 college baseball season. This list doesn’t even come close to covering it.
Henry Ford
Starting with Henry Ford, who transferred from Virginia to Tennessee after batting .362 with 11 homers and 46 RBIs and finding a spot as a preseason All-American.
Chris Hacopian
Chris Hacopian transferred from Maryland to Texas A&M to bolster that lineup after hitting .375 with 14 homers and over 60 RBIs last season and a total of 29 homers in his time at Maryland.

AJ Gracia
AJ Gracia is going from Duke to Virginia after the Cavaliers lost a chunk of their lineup. He smashed 15 homers last year, hitting over .290. He has a lot of tools and is a stellar center fielder.
Jarren Advincula
Jarren Advincula, a premier shortstop out of the portal, is transferring from Cal to Georgia Tech.
Trent Caraway
Trent Caraway hit 6 homers in the regionals last year and is transferring from Oregon State to the reigning champs, LSU. Look out for him this season.
Trey Beard
Trey Beard was 7-1 on the mound last year with a 3.14 ERA at Florida Atlantic and will now be at FSU.

Will Gasparino
Will Gasparino, another huge name that entered the portal last season, left Texas to join the UCLA Bruins. The LA native hit 25 homers in 2 years at Texas.
Carson Tinney
Carson Tinney was arguably one of the biggest names in the portal after finishing last season as a first-team All-American at Notre Dame and making a name for himself as one of the best backstops in the country. He hit close to a .350 average with 17 homers and will now be at Texas.
Tomas Valincius
Tomas Valincius followed his coach Brian O’Connor, transferring from Virginia to Mississippi State. He boasted a 97 mph fastball and a 6-1 record last year.
Drew Whalen
Drew Whalen was the 2025 Conference USA Pitcher of the Year at Western Kentucky, posting a 3.53 ERA, and will be at Auburn this year.

Brady Frederick
Brady Frederick, a third-team D1Baseball preseason All-American, transferred to Tennessee. He had a 2.67 ERA with 76 strikeouts out of the bullpen last year.
Jack Arcamone
And finally, a lot of names are headed to Georgia, including some big names on the mound, but I am highlighting Jack Arcamone, who hit .355 with 13 homers and over 60 RBIs last year.
