(Minneapolis, MN) — TwinsFest at Target Field this weekend is the first big event for new Twins manager Derek Shelton. Team spokesman Matt Hodson says fans are going to love Derek Shelton, “one of the most passionate people you could meet about Twins baseball and Minnesota. He is so fired up to be here.” Shelton was a Twins bench coach in 2018 and 2019 before managing the Pittsburgh Pirates for five-plus seasons. Dozens of current and former players will be signing autographs today (SAT) at TwinsFest.
