The New York Mets have acquired two-time All-Star starter Freddy Peralta and pitcher Tobias Myers from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for prospects Jett Williams and Brandon Sproat, according to multiple reports.

Peralta started 33 games last season for the Brewers and posted a 17-6 record with a 2.70 ERA and 204 strikeouts in 176.2 innings.

The 29-year-old has spent his entire eight-year MLB career with the Brewers since debuting with them in 2018.

The Moca, Dominican Republic native was selected to the MLB All-Star game in 2021 and 2025.

The Mets have been active this off season, adding former Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette on a three-year, $126 million deal and swinging a trade for Chicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr.

They are trying to improve on an 83-79 record last season that saw them finish 13 games behind the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League East.
