Wedding bells were ringing for Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Eric Lauer over the weekend.

With the 2026 MLB season right around the corner, the 30-year-old Lauer tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Emily Dobbin in a beautiful ceremony. The wedding was hosted in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the Clayton House venue.

The couple has been together since 2019 and has one baby boy, Landon, born in 2025.

Toronto Blue Jays Lauer wedding1 Blue Jays teammates, and fellow pitchers, Shane Bieber and Brendon Little were among those who attended the wedding. It seemed like a blast, as the couple shared photos from the ceremony, including Emily’s beautiful wedding dress. Lauer opted to wear a white tux with black accents.

Toronto Blue Jays Lauer wedding2This is the second wedding of the offseason among Blue Jays players. Fellow pitcher and teammate, Braydon Fisher, tied the knot back in November. Rookie pitcher Trey Yesavage got engaged that same month as well.

If you want to include former Blue Jays, Bo Bichette also got married earlier this offseason, shortly before signing with the New York Mets.

Lauer had quite an up-and-down 2025 season with the Blue Jays. He found his way into the starting rotation for a stretch, but was relegated to the bullpen during their World Series postseason run.

He had a stellar 9-2 record and a 3.18 ERA in 15 starts with Toronto during the regular season. Lauer pitched a total of 8.2 postseason innings, where he allowed a total of six hits and three earned runs over five games.

There is still some uncertainty about his future with the Blue Jays. Lauer is not under contract for the 2026 season and is expected to enter arbitration with Toronto sometime next month. He is coming off a minor-league deal with the Jays last season that paid him $2.2 million.

Though he may not have a contract set in place with the Blue Jays, he had no issue locking down a long-term deal with his new wife.
