The Paley Center for Media’s annual PaleyFest LA started out in its early run with a hefty slate of classic TV reunions before turning its focus in recent years to mostly current shows. But the 2026 edition promises a big one: The 50th anniversary of landmark ABC crime drama “Charlie’s Angels,” with stars Kate Jackson, Cheryl Ladd and Jaclyn Smith set to attend.

“’Charlie’s Angels’ surprised everyone when Farrah, Jackie and I hit the ground running (thanks, in part, to Farrah’s iconic poster) and the pilot went through the glass ceiling,” Jackson, Smith and Ladd said in a joint statement. “Overnight, we were hailed with something akin to ‘rock star fame.’ When Cheryl joined us in the second season, she added a special element uniquely hers and the crazy went on. It was lighthearted, but, at the beginning of the Women’s Movement in the 1970’s, also quietly delivered the important message that women are just as capable as men. We are proud that we were able to entertain the television viewing audience for an hour each week, let them put their feet up, forget their troubles and, at the same time, inspire and empower young women all over the world. We look forward to reuniting on the PaleyFest stage to celebrate ‘Charlie’s Angels’ milestone anniversary and to reflect on our work in television across the decades.”

From producers Aaron Spelling and Leonard Goldberg, “Charlie’s Angels” aired from September 1976 to June 1981 on ABC, airing for 115 episodes over five seasons. Original star Farrah Fawcett died in 2009; other stars included Shelley Hack, Tanya Roberts and David Doyle.

Meanwhile, at PaleyFest, another reunion this year also doubles as a celebration for the return of ABC’s and Hulu’s “Scrubs,” as that show gets a revival. Other PaleyFest LA panels this year include Apple TV’s “Pluribus,” “Shrinking” and “Your Friends & Neighbors,” HBO Max’s Emmy-winning “The Pitt” and Netflix series “Emily in Paris” and “Nobody Wants This.”

“The Pitt,” “Shrinking” and “Nobody Wants This” had previously been announced. This year’s PaleyFest LA will once again be held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, from April 4 to April 12 — just weeks after the Oscars are held at that venue.

The PaleyFest is sponsored by Citi, while William S. Paley Foundation is the founding benefactor. Entering its 43rd year in Los Angeles, the PaleyFest features screenings and conversations for some of the most popular shows on TV.

“PaleyFest LA is a one-of-a-kind celebration where iconic talent, passionate fans, and unforgettable moments all come together,” said Paley Center president/CEO Maureen J. Reidy. “We are thrilled to welcome audiences back to the Dolby Theatre this April and are deeply grateful to our partners at Citi and the William S. Paley Foundation for their continued support in making this festival possible.”
