Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Twins and right-hander Joe Ryan have avoided salary arbitration, agreeing to a one-year contract worth $6.2 million for the 2026 season.
Ryan, who earned his first All-Star selection in 2025, posted a 13-10 record with a 3.42 ERA across 31 appearances last season. The 28-year-old has established himself as a reliable presence in Minnesota’s rotation since joining the organization.
The deal ensures the Twins will retain one of their key starters as they prepare for the upcoming season. Ryan’s agreement comes as teams and arbitration-eligible players work to finalize contracts ahead of potential hearings.
Ryan has been with the Twins since 2021.
The Twins will look to Ryan to anchor their rotation once again when spring training begins.
