(ABC 6 News) – A new face from the Colorado Rockies baseball team will be joining the Minnesota Twins this season,.
The Twins announced on Wednesday, January 28th, that they had acquired right-handed pitcher Jace Kaminska from Colorado. In exchange, infielder Edouard Julien and right-handed pitcher Pierson Ohl have been traded to the Rockies.
Kaminska missed the 2025 season while recovering from surgery on his elbow. Before that, the made 17 appearances in 2024, going 5-5 with a 2.78 ERA, 12 walks, 104 strikeouts, a 1.05 WHIP, and a 0.238 opponent batting average.
He was named California League Pitcher of the Year that season, and was selected by the Rockies in the 10th round of the 2023 draft.
