Former Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator and New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll has been hired as the offensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans, the team announced Tuesday.

Daboll joins the Titans staff under new head coach Robert Saleh, who was hired by Tennessee last week. He will be tasked with developing Titans quarterback Cam Ward, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Prior to joining Tennessee, Daboll most recently served as the Giants head coach for three-plus seasons from 2022-25. He was named the Associated Press NFL Coach of the Year in 2022 after leading New York to a 9-7 record and a playoff appearance, but he was fired in November 2025 following a 2-8 start for the Giants last season. He led the Giants to a 20-40-1 record during his tenure.

Daboll has previously served eight seasons as an NFL offensive coordinator, including four seasons with the Buffalo Bills and star quarterback Josh Allen from 2018-21. While with Buffalo, Daboll was AP NFL Assistant Coach of the Year in 2020. He also served as OC for the Kansas City Chiefs (2012), Miami Dolphins (2011), and Cleveland Browns (2009-10).

Cleveland marked Daboll’s first NFL gig as an offensive coordinator. He coached under head coach Eric Mangini for both seasons and worked with quarterbacks Brady Quinn, Derek Anderson, Colt McCoy, Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace.

Daboll’s coaching career also includes stops with the New England Patriots, where he coached under six-time Super Bowl champion head coach Bill Belichick, and at the collegiate level at Alabama, where he served under seven-time national champion head coach Nick Saban.
