Detroit Lakes, MN (KDLM) – The Minnesota Twins continued their offseason roster shuffling Wednesday, trading infielder Edouard Julien and reliever Pierson Ohl to the Colorado Rockies in exchange for minor league pitcher Jace Kaminska.
The move marks the end of Julien’s tenure with the organization after showing significant promise during his 2023 rookie campaign. However, the 25-year-old infielder struggled to replicate that success in 2024, batting just .220 with three home runs and 12 RBIs across 64 games.
Julien’s regression at the plate ultimately made him expendable as the Twins continue to reshape their roster ahead of the 2026 season.
Also included in the deal was Ohl, a relief pitcher who joins Julien in heading to Colorado. In return, the Twins acquired Kaminska, a minor league pitcher who will provide additional depth to the organization’s pitching pipeline.
