On Saturday, the Mets picked up a 5-2 win over the Dodgers to even this series at one win each.
The Dodgers got the scoring going in the top of the second with an Enrique Hernandez RBI single off David Peterson. Later in the inning, Dalton Rushing brought Tommy Edman home on a groundout.
That was all Los Angeles managed, though. RBIs from Brett Baty and Starling Marte tied the game up, then Juan Soto put the Mets on top with a two-run double in the fourth.
The Dodgers are expected to start the struggling Landon Knack, who is 2-1 but has a 6.17 ERA on the year. The Mets will counter with Kodai Senga, who is 4-3 with a 1.43 ERA.
