Organizers say fans who purchased tickets for an autograph session will receive communication in the coming days about how their purchase will be fulfilled.

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Braves announced they are canceling festivities originally scheduled for Saturday due to the winter storm expected this weekend.

Braves Fest officials say they were excited to celebrate with the over 76,000 fans who purchased tickets to the event, but due to expected snow this weekend, they want to ensure the safety of fans planning to travel throughout Braves Country.

The event was hosted by Delta Air Lines.

Organizers say fans who purchased tickets for an autograph session will receive communication in the coming days about how their purchase will be fulfilled.

The Braves Country Night, an adult-only Western-themed gala hosted by the Atlanta Braves Foundation, is still expected to take place at Truist Park on Friday. Doors are expected to open at 8:00 p.m. for general admission, with tickets costing $500.
