OTTUMWA, Iowa (KCRG) – A summer college baseball team is coming to Ottumwa for the 2026 season.
The Iowa Tribe baseball team will begin June 4 and continue into championship series, according to team officials.
“We are grateful that we are able to bring summer college team here and some of these summer college stars will turn into the next MLB,” said Shawn Smith, Director of Operations. “There is so much hype and buzz to get it going and we are excited as an ownership group as well.”
Other teams in the league include the Colby Sasquatches, Topeka Stealth, Omaha Tusks, Iowa Bombers and Kansas City Bootleggers.
