SEATTLE — The Seattle Mariners announced a major shift in how fans can watch games this season, rolling out new no-blackout viewing options while also unveiling a Steelheads uniform rotation.
The centerpiece of the broadcast plan is Mariners.TV, a new in-market streaming service that will allow fans in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, Montana and Hawaii to stream Mariners games live throughout the season without local blackouts. Subscriptions open Feb. 10, priced at $99.99 for the full season or $19.99 per month.
Mariners.TV will work in tandem with MLB.TV, which will continue to serve out-of-market viewers.Â
Games will also remain available on cable and satellite providers after the closure of ROOT Sports at the end of last season.Â
Mariners games will air on a dedicated Mariners channel on platforms including Comcast Xfinity, DirecTV and YouTube TV, featuring live games along with brief pregame and postgame coverage.
Specific channel assignments are expected to be announced closer to Opening Day on March 26 against Cleveland.
In addition to the broadcast changes, the Mariners announced they will wear Seattle Steelheads uniforms during Sunday home games at T-Mobile Park, honoring the 1946 Negro Leagues team. Seattle will be the first Major League Baseball club to feature a historic Negro Leagues uniform as part of its standard uniform rotation.
The team is also launching the Steelheads Community Fund with a $500,000 commitment to support local Black-led baseball and softball organizations and community initiatives. Distribution details are still being developed, with a formal launch planned for early summer.
The Mariners also confirmed their broadcast lineup for the season.Â
Aaron Goldsmith will serve as the primary television play-by-play voice, with analysts including Angie Mentink, Ryan Rowland‑Smith, Jay Buhner and Dave Valle appearing on select games. Brad Adam will host pre- and post-game coverage.

All 162 regular-season games and 30 spring training games will air on Seattle Sports AM 710 and the Mariners Radio Network. A full television schedule will be released later.
