KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Kansas City Royals announced Monday that their games during the 2026 MLB season will be produced and distributed by Major League Baseball on Royals.TV.
Royals President of Business Operations Cullen Maxey called the news a “big win for fans,” with games available on cable and satellite television.
“MLB pioneered and remains the leader in delivering high quality sports content to streamers, and we’re thrilled to partner with them to bring our exciting team to a broader audience,” Maxey said. “Reach is paramount to what we do, and our games will continue to be in all the places fans are used to watching, plus hopefully some more.”
According to a report from The Athletic, the Royals are joined by the Marlins, Reds and Cardinals as teams leaving Main Street Sports Group, which owns FanDuel Sports Network.
Fans who live inside the Royals home television territory can purchase the Royals.TV in-market streaming package through MLB.com or the MLB App for $99.99 per year.
