Popular Featherweight Opts Against Retirement, Faces ‘The Train’ at UFC 327 in MiamiMultiple outlets confirmed a featherweight bout between Cub Swanson and Nate Landwehr for UFC 327 on April 11 in Miami.
The Swanson vs. Landwehr matchup joins UFC 327 fights Murzaakanov vs. Costa, Reyes vs. Walker, and Suarez vs. Godinez; the headliner is unannounced. The event is set for Miami’s Kaseya Center and will stream on Paramount+.
Swanson, 42, last fought in December 2024, winning by knockout before hinting at retirement to prioritize family and coaching. He said it would take “something exciting” to return.
A former top contender, he has alternated results since 2020 and owns a 2016 Hall of Fame bout with Doo Ho Choi. Landwehr is 5–5 in the UFC and has lost three of four, most recently to Morgan Charriere.
