Kansas City Royals fans will be able to watch 10 games on free over-the air Gray Media-owned channels in Nebraska again this season.
This second year of the successful partnership features a historic moment for Kansas City baseball fans: the broadcast of the Royals’ home opener on Monday, March 30 against the Minnesota Twins.
KOLN/KSNB/KNOP-TV General Manager, Jacque Harms, says, “Nebraskans have a long and storied history of cheering for the Royals, and we are proud to bring that tradition directly into the living rooms of our viewers for free. By partnering with Gray Media television stations, KOLN, KSNB, and KNOP’s family of channels are ensuring that fans from Lincoln to Grand Island/Hastings and North Platte don’t miss a moment of these marquee matchups. In an era of shifting sports media, our commitment remains clear: providing high-quality, local access to the teams our community loves most.”
The TV schedule for three of the 10 games has been decided with the channel designation of seven other games to be announced at a later date.
