CLEVELAND, Ohio — Three of the four managers of the Guardians’ full-season minor league clubs will return for the 2026 season.

Andy Tracy will begin his seventh season at Triple-A Columbus. Greg DiCenzo will return to Double-A Akron for the third season and his fifth season overall with the organization. Omir Santos returns to High-A Lake County for his fourth season and sixth overall with Cleveland.

Erlin Cerda, who played six years in Cleveland’s minor league system before becoming a coach in 2022, will begin his first year as manager at Class A Lynchburg.

Juan De La Cruz will begin his second year as manager of Cleveland’s entry in the Arizona Complex League, while Dilson Herrera and Justin Devoid will manage the organization’s two teams in the Dominican Summer League. Herrera joins the organization after playing in the big leagues with the Mets, Reds and Orioles.

The Guardians, who finished last season ranked 10th with a cumulative record of 366-358 among MLB’s 30 farm systems, also announced the promotions of Ilana Mishkin and Alyssa Nakker.

Mishkin was promoted to director of player development, player support. Nakken was promoted to director of player development, Arizona development.

In her eighth season with the Guardians, Mishkin is in charge of global player development processes, resource development and support for international players and staff members. Nakken will take on increased responsibility at the team’s year-round complex in Goodyear, Ariz., helping to align players’ work on the field and staff collaboration. She has been with Cleveland since 2024.

Another promotion saw JB Eary named director of defense, base running and game strategy. He is in his seventh season with the Guardians. Eary will be based out of Goodyear.

Other hires and promotions include:

Nick Wittgren, Triple-A Columbus pitching coach: Wittgren, who pitched for Cleveland from 2019-21, begins his first year in player development. He pitched in the big leagues from 2016-23.Eric Stamets, bench coach at Class A Lake County: Stamets played 15 games with Cleveland in 2019. He spent the last three seasons as a minor league coach with Houston after playing 10 years professionally.Angus Adams, Double-A Akron pitching coach: Adams begins first season with the organization following his tenure as a performance coach at Tread Athletics in Charlotte, N.C., and a coaching stint at Elmira College in New York.Mike Snow, ACL hitting coach: Snow joins the organization after previously working as a game-planning strategist for the Angels in 2024-25 and a stint as a hitting instructor at Driveline in Scottsdale, Ariz.Cody Buckel, pitching coordinator: Buckel was promoted to pitching coordinator after spending the last two seasons being the pitching coach at Columbus and Akron. He joined the organization in 2019.Marc Mumper, infield coordinator: Mumper was promoted to infield coordinator in his fourth season in the organization. He was the bench coach at Akron and Lake County in 2025 and 2024, respectively.

Columbus opens the regular season on March 27. Akron, Lake County and Lynchburg open on April 2.
