The Atlanta Braves hope to make a strong comeback this year following an utterly disappointing 2025 campaign with several new additions this winter. Widespread injuries, especially within the starting rotation, were a major cause of their downfall. The Braves clearly want to sign a veteran starter before spring training to bolster the depth of their pitching staff.
Even though the Atlanta Braves should have nearly their full complement of starting pitchers available for the start of the season, Joel Reuter predicts one big change to their rotation from last year. He believes Lucas Giolito will pitch in a Braves uniform this year. Reynaldo Lopez will make way for the 30-year-old right-hander.
