Los Angeles Dodgers two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani recently revealed his go-to In-N-Out order.

Ohtani shared with Access Hollywood that he orders protein style during the offseason and animal style during the season.

“In the offseason, I always get the protein style. During the season, I usually order animal style,” Ohtani said.

The 31-year-old has been in California for his entire career, spending his first six seasons in Anaheim with the Angels and the last two in Los Angeles with the Dodgers. Ohtani is no stranger to the iconic burger joint that has come to symbolize Southern California culture.

In-N-Out is deeply rooted in L.A. car culture and local pride. As of 2026, In-N-Out was ranked as the No. 1 employer in California due to its high wages, stable, and ‘people-first’ culture. It is arguably the most iconic restaurant in Los Angeles due to its local presence, fresh ingredients, high-quality, affordable, and simple menu.

Ohtani will soon enter his ninth season in the league and his third with the Dodgers. He will look to lead L.A. to yet another title, a possible third consecutive, and what would be their 10th in franchise history. L.A. has great odds to do that because of its stacked roster led by Ohtani.

The two-way Japanese superstar is coming off yet another MVP season, where he slashed .282/.392/.622 with a 1.014 OPS, 55 home runs (a career-high), 102 RBIs, 146 runs and 20 stolen bases in 158 games and 727 plate appearances.

Ohtani will look to lead L.A. back to the mountaintop and enters 2026 with strong odds to win his fifth MVP —and fourth straight.
