Florida State’s baseball program is nationally recognized for its consistency and track record of winning, and it appears this notoriety is being acknowledged in the virtual realm.

MLB The Show revealed that FSU’s baseball team will feature prominently in MLB The Show 26’s revamped Road to the Show (essentially career). The official post from @MLBTheShow declares, “Every journey has a beginning. From repping the Seminoles to shining in the Majors,” accompanied by visuals of garnet-and-gold FSU gear.

Set for release on March 17, 2026, with early access for Digital Deluxe pre-orders, this addition lets players craft their prospect’s career starting on the FSU campus before the MLB Draft Combine and big-league glory.

Per Operation Sports, 19 total collegiate teams will be in the game, including LSU, Tennessee, UCLA, Cal State-Fullerton, South Carolina, TCU, Texas, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Florida, Stanford, Michigan, Oregon State, and North Carolina. There are still a few colleges yet to be announced.

The Seminoles boast a powerhouse legacy: 24 College World Series appearances, the third-most ever, 61 NCAA Tournament bids, and icons like Buster Posey, yet no national title. Fans will be able to *virtually* win the Men’s College World Series, and perhaps they’ll get there once again in the real world too.

Florida State begins its baseball season on Friday at 5 P.M. ET against the James Madison Dukes in Tallahassee, Florida. The game will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
