PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Terrance Gore, a former Gulf Coast State College Baseball player and 3-time World Series Champion has passed away at the age of 34.
Gore came to the panhandle from Macon, Georgia and played for the Commodores in 2011 before being drafted by the Kansa City Royals in the 20th round.
In 2021, Gore signed a contract with the Gwinnett Stripers, the Braves’ minor league baseball team. He played in game two of the year’s National League Division Series against the Milwaukee Brewers.

He was one of the last major leaguers to make an impact with his speed and was a revered teammate with a dynamic personality.
In an Instagram post, Atlanta Braves posted a photo of Gore with the caption, “Rest in peace, Terrance.”
Gore is survived by his wife and three children.
