The Miami Marlins revealed teal alternate uniforms for the 2026 season, and they pay homage to the team’s former threads from the 1990s and 2000s.
The teal Marlins jersey will be worn for Sunday home games at LoanDepot Park beginning on March 29, when Miami hosts the Colorado Rockies, per Christina De Nicola of MLB.com.
Teal, of course, has been a prominent color in Marlins jerseys over the years. However, it has never been the dominant jersey color. However, per De Nicola, the Marlins did wear teal batting practice tops in 1993 and 1994.
The reveal is obviously a big deal, and the Marlins got franchise legends Jeff Conine, Charles Johnson and Juan Pierre out to introduce the jerseys in a hype video. Fans will see them soon enough live in less than two months.
