Gore Was Part of the Dodgers’ 2020 World Series Season

The Dodgers signed Gore to a minor league deal as a free agent and invited him to spring training in February 2020. He played two games with Los Angeles as a center fielder and designated hitter in July of that season.

Gore was not part of any of the Dodgers’ postseason rosters that season. But Los Angeles went on to win the 2020 World Series title, which was one of three World Series championship clubs Gore was part of during his eight-season MLB career.

In addition to the Dodgers, Gore was part of the Atlanta Braves and Kansas City Royals when they won the World Series in 2021 and 2015, respectively.

Gore was known for his quick speed around the bases. He stole a base during Game 4 of the 2015 American League Division Series, then served as a pinch runner in Game 2 of the 2021 National League Division Series with the Braves. Gore stole a career-high 13 bases in 37 games with the Royals in 2019.

The Dodgers sent Gore outright to Triple-A Oklahoma City after the 2020 season, and he ultimately elected free agency. He signed the Braves that following season.

Gore made appearances with the Royals, Dodgers, Braves, Chicago Cubs and New York Mets and stole 43 bases throughout eight regular seasons.

His final MLB game was against the Washington Nationals with the Mets on Oct. 5, 2022.
