KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Former pinch runner for the Kansas City Royals, Terrance Gore, passed away at 34 years old, according to MLB officials.
We are shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of Terrance Gore.

Gore played for the Royals from 2014 to 2017, and again from 2018 to 2019. He was on the 2015 ALDS and ALCS roster and received rings for the 2015 Royals World Series win.
Former teammate Eric Hosmer shared photos of Gore on X, remembering the times they played together.
The Royals’ President of Baseball Operations and General Manager, JJ Picollo, made a statement regarding Terrance’s death.
Terrance was an unforgettable part of our organization with a unique talent that catapulted him to some of the biggest moments in Royals history. While his speed and athleticism were what most people immediately noticed, those of us who had the opportunity to know him also remember his energy, his humility, and the impact he made in big moments on the game’s biggest stage.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Terrance’s wife, Britney, their three children, and all of his family and friends during this difficult time. This is a sad ending to an incredible story.
The Omaha Storm Chasers also posted a statement on X.
“Known for his great speed but even more so for his kindness and joyful smile, Terrance will be remembered as a tremendous teammate and a dedicated family man.”
