Congratulations to the Seahawks. I was hoping for a better game, it was pretty boring. I guess defensive battles tend to be boring. Field goals are boring too. It didn’t really keep my attention. I did enjoy the half-time show.
The question of the day is: Which off-season decision makes you nervous?
Hmmmm…..I don’t know. Sometimes it is hard to tell what is a decision that the team has made and what is a decision that free agents made
I guess, though I’m not sure it was a decision as much as just that they didn’t match up with any of the top free agent choices, it would be that they didn’t pick up a new closer. Jeff Hoffman gave up too many home runs to make me feel really confident going into the season with him as the closer. But they do have arms who could be put into that role if Hoffman has the same issue again.
I guess the hope is that Hoffman isn’t as prone to the long ball this year. He hasn’t been in the past, perhaps 2025 was a one-time thing.
It is fair to say that I’m nervous about having him in the closer role again.
