The St. Louis Cardinals lost their first series in the month May to one of the top teams in the league in the Detroit Tigers. They bounced back though in a three-game sweep of the Arizona Diamondbacks to go 4-3 on the week. This upcoming week they will go on a road trip to take on the 18-34 Baltimore Orioles and the 26-28 Texas Rangers. Rain seems less likely to delay any games, but the weather is definitely starting to heat up.
