PHOENIX (WPTA) – Heritage graduate and Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Andrew Saalfrank announced he will miss the 2026 MLB season after undergoing shoulder surgery.
Saalfrank tells 21Alive Sports he had bone spurs removed and a slight labrum repair due to time and a heavy workload, and his recovery is expected to take anywhere from 10 to 16 months.
The pitcher made his MLB debut for the Diamondbacks in 2023, this would have been his fourth season in the Big Leagues.
