CRYSTAL CITY, Texas – State law enforcement agents raided the Zavala County Sheriff’s Office earlier today, confiscating Sheriff Eusevio Salinas’ cell phone and the phone of a staff member, according to sources.
Sources said the Texas Attorney General’s Office and the Texas Rangers carried out the raid. Neither agency has shared the reason for the raid.
Agents also raided a woman’s home in Crystal City in connection with the investigation. No additional details were immediately available.
