Recently, Major League Baseball revealed the 2026 Hall of Fame inductees, including former Met Carlos Beltrán. The centerfielder spent 6.5 seasons with the club and will officially wear their hat on his Hall of Fame plaque. Beltrán is only the third player to represent the Mets in the HoF, joining Tom Seaver and Mike Piazza — two players whom Lucas dubs as the best of all time for the franchise.
