Located at the Tri-C Western Campus in Parma, OH, this year-round facility aims to revolutionize baseball and softball development.

It’s integrated with a comprehensive educational and community program designed to broaden access to baseball, softball and sports industry careers in Northeast Ohio. This partnership will merge advanced athletic training with educational and career opportunities and community programs to support students, families and athletes across all age groups.

Renovations will transform the Guardians Training Center into an over 20,000 square foot training hub.

The facility will have state-of-the-art technology and a team of dedicated instructors eager to help athletes of all ages, abilities and financial situations. This unique training setup, unlike typical batting cage rentals, restructures facility operations to boost player development.

The facility will start year-round operations in late spring of 2026. Team trainings, baseball and softball clinics and specialized lessons for individuals and small groups will be part of the programming.

“At the Guardians, player development is at the core of everything we do, and the Guardians Training Center allows us to bring that same professional mindset and environment to the community,” said Mike Chernoff, Cleveland Guardians general manager. “Just like our players train every day with purpose and precision, we believe that same level of preparation should be accessible to every aspiring baseball and softball player across Northeast Ohio.”

Organizations of all levels, from elite travel ball to Little League, can enjoy the unique operating system of team training programs.

Expert instruction from current and former pros and college athletes will be provided, focusing on specific positions and skills to enhance team coaching. Skills classes will offer specialized baseball and softball instruction from experts, alongside small group sessions.

“Families are looking for trustworthy coaching, safe facilities and schedules that actually work, and we’re proud to partner with the Guardians and Tri-C to bring our program to Cleveland,” said Sean Campbell, president and CEO of EL1 Sports. “At EL1, we believe in the transformative power of sports, and this Guardians Training Center will provide high-level instruction and modern training tools in a welcoming environment so every athlete can succeed, whether they’re new to the game or preparing for the next level of play.”
